Long-time readers know that I am an advocate of solid urban design that incorporates all users. Here is an example in Richardson, a prototypical suburb, of where there is no balance. Sadly, this is far more common than the exception. This is an example of of my saying that we don't love our cars, we are forced into subservience to them. There really is no option here for most people. Drive to the rail station or drive to your destination, but driving one way or another.
